Finding Beef XSS in a website null Chennai Meet 18 December 2021 Monthly Meet
Abstract
This project is to find Beef XSS On a website. As users can not know if Beef XSS is installed on the website. But this project can find them. With hooks file. The reason why users should avoid getting into sites using Beef XSS is that it’s an exploitation framework. This framework allows hackers/attackers to hack your browser easily and can do many attacks. One of them is Phishing (A attack to get passwords or details in a clone of the page of some websites. It’s a trick so that many users will fall for it.). Social Engineering can easily be done too (Phishing comes under Social Engineering). So, it’s better to avoid the websites where Beef XSS is installed/used. But how can we find them? Well, normally you can’t do that as a normal user, but this software can do it for you, and it will find if the website is using Beef XSS using a file that the framework is using. Also, this tool tells you if the website has an SSL certificate. So, you can decide if you want to enter the site. This project is easy for anyone to use as there is no need to learn any tech to use this/install this.
