Abstract

Microsoft Azure is rapidly gaining popularity in the Middle East. And Azure virtual machines are one of the most commonly used services. With the flexibility and scalability of Azure VMs also come new attack surfaces. None of these attacks, however, fall under the traditional pentesting approach when targeting virtual machines. In this briefing we will explain what some of the services relevant to Azure VMs are and how they can be abused by pentesters and threat actors alike.
