Abstract

This will be an hour-long introductory session on the new type of computing -- Quantum Computers and the latest encryption semantics around it. There are two aspects to Quantum Cryptography: Quantum Encryption and Post-quantum cryptography. For the first part of the session, I will explain how Quantum computers differ from classical ones and discuss Quantum encryption. Then, for the second part, I will walk you through why the current PKI is vulnerable to this computing and the new cryptographic algorithms around it.

Speaker

Devharsh Trivedi

Timing

Starts at Sunday September 26 2021, 11:30 AM. The sessions runs for about 1 hour.
