Social Engineering and its importance during Security Audits null Bangalore Meet 20 September 2014 null/OWASP/G4H Bangalore
Abstract
This talk will showcase the various social engineering techniques which can be useful during the onsite audits and also during various social engineering tests conducted as a part of penetration testing exercise. Special focus will be done on the body language control to gain maximum success rate in penetration and audit exercises.
At the end of the talk we shall see how PCI compliance is gearing up for the social engineering tests in its latest iteration v3.0. We shall also look into the factors that are making this the most easy to exploit "non-technical" attack vector for the successful breach in organizations worldwide since it banks on the weakest link in security, "The Human factor".
